Dogadin |
|
Viola. Andrey Dogadin was
born in 1961 in Perm, Russian Federation. In 1985 he
graduated from the Lenigrad State Conservatoire named
after Rimsky-Korsakov, where he studied under supervision
of the Professor Youri Kramarov and Professor Vladimir
Stopichev. Mr. Dogadin completed his graduate degree
in music in 1998.
During 1986 and 1995 Andrey Dogadin was a member
of the "Saint-Petersburg String Quartet" which won
several national and international chamber music competitions:
First Prize at the All-Union String Quartet Competition
(1987), the Second Prize and Special Award at the Chamber
Music Min-On Competition (Tokyo, Japan, 1989), the
Grand prix and two Special Prizes at the Vittorio Chui
Chamber Music Competition (Florence, Italy, 1989) and
the First Prize and Grand Prix at the Melbourne Chamber
Music Competition (Australia, 1991).
Since 1995 Andrey Dogadin is Principal Viola in the
Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra. With this Orchestra
he toured the world and performed in major concert venues
of Europe, USA, Latin America, Japan, Republic of Korea,
Taiwan.
Mr. Dogadin often performed with Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic
orchestra as soloist in such pieces as Mozart's Concert
Symphony for Violin and Viola, the viola concertos of
Paul Hindemith, Martinu, Britten, Berlioz's "Harold in
Italy" etc.
In 1986 Andrey Dogadin became a faculty member of the "Violin
and Viola" Department in the Saint-Petersburg Conservatoire,
where he is currently Professor. Twelve of his students
became winners of international musical competitions.
Many of them became members of the leading Saint-Petersburg
symphonic and chamber orchestras as well as in orchestras
in Finland, Germany, USA, Austria and Spain. Mr. Dogadin
gave viola and chamber ensemble master classes in USA,
Germany, Republic of Korea and Peru.
Andrey Dogadin is well known internationally as ensemble
player in chamber music festivals in Germany, UK, Finland,
USA, Israel etc. He participated in the famous festival "December
Nights of Sviatoslav Richter".
Mr. Dogadin has an outstanding list of CD releases with
such labels as "Melodia", "Sony Classics", "Audio Visual
de Sarra" and many others. He has also recorded all the
viola sonatas of the American composer, Irving Schlein. |

Dzekster |
Piano. Inga Dzektser was born in 1963
in the Ukraine. She began studying music when she was
five years old and in 1984, while studying at St.Petersburg
State Conservatory, began performing concerts in the
USSR and in Europe. In 1989 she graduated with Honors
from the Conservatory and enrolled in a Postgraduate
Course. Since 1989 she has worked as a teacher at the
St.-Petersburg Conservatory.
In 1994 Inga Dzektser won an International Chamber
Music Competition in Trapani, Italy.
In 2003 she won an International Piano Duo Competition
in Tokyo,Japan.
Mrs. Dzektser has played with many symphony and chamber
orchestras and has participated in music festivals in
Spain, France, Holland, Finland and Portugal. She played
at the Kissinger Sommer festival in Bad Kissingen, Germany,
and also participated in the International Chamber Musuc
festival in Italy (Fermo, Camerino, Tagliacozzo) and
in the festival organized by Yuiri Bashmet on the island
of Elba. The latter concerts were broadcast by Italian
TV. She regularly performs in Germany. She has played
with such well-known musicians as Philip Hirshhorn, Dora
Schwarzberg, Alexander Knyazev, Zachar Bron.
In 1998 Mrs. Dzektser toured several cities in the United
States.
Inga Dzektser has been a jury member of the International “European
Music Prize for Youth” competition in Linz, Austria.
She has given master classes and concerts in Japan, Korea
and Portugal. She has worked as an accompanist at the
master class of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra’s
quartet and is an official pianist of the International
Lilpizer Violin competition in Gorizia, Italy, and in
the International David Oistrakh Violin competition of
in Odessa, Russia.
Her repertoire includes music of all styles. |

Eliashevich |
|
Piano. Born 1969 in St. Petersburg, Russia. First piano
lessons at the age of six. Debut occured a year later
on the stage at Count Shuvalov Palace.
1984 - graduated from music lycee and entered Rimsky-Korsakov
College of Music at St. Petersburg; studied with Prof.
Ljubov Busina and Prof. Irina Sharogradskaya. Took private
lessons from Ljubov Pevzner and Prof. Vitali Berzon. Appeared
in recitals, chamber concerts and with orchestras throughout
the country.
1987 - won two important national competitions (in Kaliningrad
and Baku). 1988 graduated from the College "with highest
honours" and entered the St. Petersburg State Conservatoire
where studied with Prof. Igor Lebedev and Russian star-pianist
Prof. Vadim Monastirsky, also with Prof. Tamara Fidler
(Chamber ensemble). Several years attended the Holland
Music Sessions and other summer academies where studied
with Eugene Indjic (Piano), Tom Bollen (accompaniment),
Colin Carr and Pascal Devoyon (Chamber Ensemble).
1989 - won the Fourth Prize and "Alfa-Romeo" Special Award
at the "Citta di Marsala" International Piano Competition
in Italy. 1990 founded the famous Russian chamber ensemble "MUSICA
DA CAMERA". 1993 graduated from the Conservatoire "summa
cum laude" and started international career.
As a solo pianist, and with "MUSICA DA CAMERA", toured
many cities of Russia, Europe and the United States. Appears
with orchestras and noted singers and instrumentalists
in the best halls of St. Petersburg and abroad. Made several
recordings for Russian Radio and TV companies.
1993 - attained the position of Assistant Professor (Piano
and Chamber Ensemble) at the Music Department of the Pedagogical
University of Russia in St. Petersburg.
1994 - invited as guest professor at the Arvika Conservatoire
in Sweden.
1995 - won International Richard Wagner Scholarship Competition
in Bayreuth.
2000 (May) - received "Best Pianist" Award at the International
Schneider-Trnavsky Competition in Trnava (Slovakia). Participated
in important festivals of Russian Art and Culture in Europe
(Venice, Gütersloh and Rotterdam).
1998 - documentary about St. Petersburg
culture filmed by NHK-Japan TV. It received UNESCO Annual
Award in New York.

Evtodieva |
|
Soprano. Victoria Evtodieva is a graduate
of the St. Petersburg Conservatory. She is a laureate
of many international vocal competitions including the
Endschede Chamber Music Competition in 1994 (First Prize),
the Hannover Schostakovich Competition in 1997 (First
Prize) and the Tchaikovsky Competition in 1998.
Her repertoire covers almost five centuries of European
and Russian music. On the one hand, Ms. Evtodieva is
soloist with Musica Antiqua Russica under the direction
of Vladimir Shulyakovsky, which specializes in 16th-18th
century music. On the other hand, she frequently performs
contemporary works by Part, Kanchelli, Taverner, Kurtag,
and Desyatnikov.
As a regular guest of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic,
she has performed a wide range of cantatas, oratorios,
opera and symphonic compositions by J.S. Bach, Handel,
Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven and Verdi. She has been a
regular guest of Gideon Kremer at his festival in Lockenhaus,
Austria. She also participated in Contemporary music
festivals in Belgium (Ars Musica), Russia (“From
Avant Guarde up to now”), and in early music festivals
in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Slovenia and Spain.
She has sung a number of title operatic roles at the
St. Petersburg Conservatory Opera Studio (Iolanta in “Iolanta”,
Margaret in “Faust”, Tatiana in “Eugene
Onegin” and the Countess in “Le Nozze di
Figaro”). Besides her concert career, Ms. Evtodieva
also teaches chamber singing at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. |

Violin. Ilia Ioff was born
in 1966 in St.Petersburg where he began studying the
violin at an early age. In 1973 he entered the Special
Music School. His rich sound and mature interpretations
were noticed by the outstanding Soviet violinist, Professor
B. Gutnikov. He continued his studies at the St. Petersburg
Conservatoire with Professor V. Ovcharek and graduated
in 1991.
In 1988 Ilya Ioff entered the ARD-Competition (Munich)
with a piano-trio which was awarded the Special Prize.
In 1991 he was a member of the piano-trio which won
the First Prize in the "Vercelli Chamber Ensemble Viotti
Competition" in Italy.
Ilia Ioff has toured Europe, South Korea and Turkey.
He has performed with Mariss Jansons, Yury Temirkanov,
Martha Argerich, Julian Milkis and others in many European
countries and the United States.
Contemporary St. Petersburg's composers, such as National
Artists B. Tischenko, S. Slonimsky, G. Korchmar, and
L. Desyatnikov, entrusted premiere performances of new
compositions to him.
Among lya Ioff's CD recordings are Paganini's Concerto
No. 1, sonatas of Mozart, Tartini and Brahms, trios of
Schubert and Tchaikovsky, chamber music of Dvorak, Brahms,
Arensky and Borodin, and Schnittke's Concerto Grosso
No. 1.
In 2002, Ilya Ioff was awarded the title "Honored Artist
of Russia".
Apart from his performing activities, he teaches violin
at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire and is Artistic Director
of the Divertissement State String Orchestra. It's large
repertoire and the sound 'all-absorbing' approach have
won well-deserved successes with Russian, European, and
American audiences.

St. Petersburg and other Russian cities, also toured
Germany (1994, 1997) and The Netherlands (1996, 1999).
1999 (November) - tour performing flute concertos of
Mozart and Tishenko.
1997 - documentary on the cultural life of St. Petersburg
filmed for NHK-Japan TV. In 1998 this documentary was
awarded the UNESCO Prize in New York.
1999 - received fellowship from the Open Society Institute
(New York).

Conservatoire with a Doctorate in Music in 1993, having
studied piano with Oleg Malov and Eduard Bazanov. In
1992 she was invited to teach Solo Piano students in
the Piano Department of the Conservatoire and continues
in this position.
In 1997 she was a prizewinner of the German Gartof
Stiftung Competition. In 2000 she won first prize for
solo piano at the National Beethoven Competition in
St. Petersburg, which was open to pianists worldwide.
Aside from her wide classical repertoire, Ms. Sandovskaya
also specializes in the performance of contemporary music.
She has participated in many contemporary music festivals,
such as: "From Avant-garde to Today", "Sound
Waves" and "Musical Spring" and "Sergey
Oskolkov and his Friends" (St. Petersburg), "Art
Genda" (Copenhagen), "Mozart and Modern" (Switzerland),
"Simeon ten Holt" (Holland).
She has released other CDs. One contains her performance
of Beethoven's "Hammerklavier" Sonata. Others
contain her performances of compositions by the Russian
composers, Ustvolskaya, Korolev and Izosimov. In South
Korea she recorded 12 instructional videos based on Beethoven's
sonatas.
She has also recorded the complete piano works of the
American composer, Irving Schlein.
She frequently performs in recitals and with orchestras.
In St. Petersburg, she has performed with the Radio and
TV Orchestra under Gorkkovenko, with the Orchestra of
the Music College under Paulavitschus, with the Orchestra
of the St. P. Conservatory under Rybalko, with the Academia
Orchestra under Yakubovsky, and with the Children's Philharmonic
Orchestra under Bchirova and Gustin. She has also performed
in The Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark,
Ukraine and Belarus. |
